Job Title: Senior Employment Law Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Senior Employment Law Attorney to join our team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our Employment Law Group, you will provide legal support to all divisions across the firm, handling employment-related disputes, drafting and reviewing employment documentation, and reviewing and monitoring employment law developments.

Responsibilities:
  • Handling employment-related disputes, including managing external counsel and coordinating with internal teams
  • Drafting and reviewing employment documentation, such as offer letters and severance letters
  • Reviewing and monitoring employment law developments and addressing potential impact on the firm's HCM strategy
  • Coordinating with other relevant groups throughout the firm, including Legal, Compliance, Tax, and Compensation
  • Providing counsel on internal investigations of employment-related complaints and escalations
  • Preparing and delivering training programs for management and HCM on employment law topics
Requirements:
  • 8+ years' PQE employment law advisory and significant litigation experience gained in private practice and/or with a large multinational corporate organization
  • Excellent organizational, drafting, and communication skills, with a commitment to excellence and ability to draft communications easily understandable to clients
  • Excellent global project skills, with ability to develop, manage, and drive to conclusion multi-faceted cross-divisional team efforts
  • Excellent interpersonal and client skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with relevant business groups within the firm
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with ability to respond calmly, creatively, and quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure, changing environment
