Orora's high-volume aluminium can manufacture plant is a key player in serving the Australian and New Zealand beverage markets. With continuous growth, we prioritise safety, operational excellence, and sustainability.

The Maintenance Planner will ensure optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and liaising between Operations and Maintenance departments, this role will implement and continuously improve maintenance planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime
  • Collaborate with Maintenance staff and production teams along with other key stakeholders to schedule preventative and corrective maintenance activities
  • Build & maintain internal documentation for all maintenance departments and tasks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Lead inventory management to spare parts, tools, and supplies
  • Coordinate and procure contractors required for maintenance tasks
  • Generate regular reports on maintenance performance, highlighting opportunities for improvement
About You

The Successful applicants will:

  • Hold a trade certificate in Mechanical/Electrical or an Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic
  • Have extensive previous experience in a Maintenance Coordinator/Supervisor role
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of MEX systems, Smartsheet, QAD, and Microsoft packages
  • Display strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Be able to prioritise based on operational requirements
