Business Data Analyst for AI Operations

**About Our Team**
The AI Data Service and Operations (ADSO) team is responsible for providing safety and non-safety data annotation services and search operation services for all of TikTok's international products. As an AI Data Analyst and Operations Expert, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, conducting competitor analysis, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
This role requires a deep understanding of the AI data annotation industry, including emerging trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, risks, and opportunities in the AI data annotation sector.
- Keeping close to business operations to understand priorities, challenges, and providing relevant research findings to support the business.
- Independently leading a research scope from start to end, including scoping of requirements, fieldwork, report writing, and presentation of findings.
- Using both quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to deliver well-rounded research findings.
- Monitoring and generating regular trend reports to evaluate the impact of the latest developments in the AI industry, regulatory changes, and other external factors on our operations.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning, particularly as they relate to data annotation and labeling.
- Participating in industry conferences, webinars, and other events to network with key stakeholders and gather relevant insights.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record in conducting industry research and analysis, preferably within the technology or AI sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
- Proficiency in market research tools and techniques, including data collection, statistical analysis, and trend forecasting.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in the context of data annotation and labeling.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in the AI data annotation industry or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
