Job Title: Lifting Gear Inspector

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lifting Gear Inspector to join our team. As a Lifting Gear Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing, and maintaining new and existing lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our clients' equipment is safe for use and compliant with Australian Standards. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment to ensure compliance with Australian Standards
  • Repair and maintain equipment as needed
  • Install new equipment and conduct training sessions for clients
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively to understand their needs
  • Work autonomously and make decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Experience in the lifting and rigging industry
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships and work autonomously
  • Problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Confidently work at heights
  • Comfortable with technology and working from a tablet
  • Current Drivers Licence

  • LEEA Team Card Holder
  • Industry-related training certificates
  • Forklift high-risk work licence
  • Safe working at heights ticket
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • EWP ticket
