About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Wellbeing Coordinator to lead our Meaningful Life program at Burpengary Gardens Care Community.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing opportunities for meaningful engagement, purposeful participation, social events, and activities for all residents.
You will drive Opal HealthCare initiatives, including Meaningful Mates and Helping Hands, and curate programs to support residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing and overall quality of life.
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications and experience in delivering Person Centred Care principles. You will work closely with clinical teams and allied health professionals to provide a tailored approach for each resident to aid their mobility and independence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing resident care plans and completing key lifestyle assessments
- Liaising with residents to develop activities and engagements that meet their cultural, spiritual, social, and physical needs and preferences
- Engaging with residents' families to encourage visitation and socialisation
- Couching care team members to deliver meaningful engagements between like-minded residents
