Recovery Support Specialist

As a Recovery Support Worker with Richmond Fellowship Queensland, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based and recovery-oriented support to individuals at risk of homelessness, discharged from acute mental health wards, and/or supported by community mental health services.
You will assist clients in achieving their identified goals and aspirations, provide support with day-to-day tasks and activities, and develop professional working relationships with stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
Working as part of a wider team, you will have your own client caseload and receive on-the-job supervision on an ongoing basis.

- Diploma in a human services-related field and demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness

- Ability to undergo criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a valid NDIS worker screening clearance pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld)
- Willingness and ability to undertake vaccination of preventable diseases that complies with the Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases – Qld Health Policy Directive
