We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Health Officer to join our team at the City of Mandurah. As a key member of our public health team, you will play a critical role in protecting the health and wellbeing of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective environmental health programs and policies to promote public health and safety.
  2. Conduct inspections and investigations to identify and address environmental health hazards and risks.
  3. Provide education and training to the community on environmental health issues and promote healthy behaviors.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve public health goals and objectives.
  5. Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies related to environmental health.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) degree or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental health principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound technical knowledge related to inspection, education, and enforcement processes.
