About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing the commissioning process for our data centers in Australia and New Zealand. This includes ensuring that all electrical and mechanical systems are properly installed, tested, and validated to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning Process Management: Develop and implement commissioning processes to ensure that all data center systems are properly installed, tested, and validated.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of commissioning engineers and technicians to ensure that all commissioning activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all commissioning activities meet our high standards for quality and reliability.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure that all commissioning activities are properly coordinated and executed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in commissioning, mechanical, electrical, or controls design, construction project management, control system installation or maintenance, HVAC testing and balancing, or facilities operations and/or maintenance.
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience in people management, including hiring, organizational planning, building a team, performance management, mentoring, and coaching.
