We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Director to lead our team in Shepparton, Goulburn Valley. With a high volume of unique caseloads, this is an opportunity to fast-track your leadership and clinical operations experience.

**Salary**: The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Job Description**: As a Medical Imaging Director, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive approach to medical imaging services, with a strong clinical focus on high-quality, accurate medical imaging services to referrers and patients, and a commercial focus on improved clinical and financial outcomes.

You will lead by example, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating closely with other staff to ensure seamless workflow and optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily technologist workforce requirements and productivity;
  • Developing and mentoring technologist staff;
  • Ensuring outstanding service delivery and supervision of the day-to-day management of the Medical Imaging department;
  • Implementing quality improvement initiatives and reviewing work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes;
  • Providing the highest level of patient care possible;
  • Performing routine and specialized medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification in a relevant health science discipline;
  • Significant experience in medical imaging leadership and management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
