Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Nurse Unit Manager to join our Surgical Services team at Peninsula Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to our perioperative nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of perioperative nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and services
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to promote professional development and growth
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Current, condition-free AHPRA Registration
- Post graduate certificate and recent experience in perioperative nursing
- Proven effective assessment and problem-solving skills
- Effective organisational, leadership and time management skills
