Strategic Financial Leader for a Thriving Property Development Group

Company Overview: This prominent private property development group boasts an impressive multi-billion dollar pipeline of projects, positioning it for sustained future growth. To support this expansion, they are seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee their finance function.
Job Description: Reporting directly to the CEO, key responsibilities include:
- Oversight of all financial reporting at a group level
- Leadership and development of a team of 10+ accountants covering various aspects including reporting, project accounting, tax, and payroll
- Management of group cash flow and profitability analysis
- Responsibility for budgets and forecasts
- Serving as the primary finance contact for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and senior managers across the business
- Management of relationships with outsourced service providers
- Implementation and oversight of controls and processes facilitating ongoing growth
- Compliance management for relevant areas
Required Skills and Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a CA/CPA qualified professional with over 15 years of experience in Senior Financial Controller or Head of Finance roles, preferably from a construction or development background. Direct team management experience is essential, with a strong track record of leading teams of 5-8+. Strong Excel skills, experience in finance transformation, and change management are also crucial. Additionally, excellent business partnering skills, ability to operate in a fast-paced complex environment, and strong communication skills are essential.
Estimated Salary Range: $250k - $280k per annum, plus superannuation and bonus incentives.
