Pricing Analyst Job Description

At WNS Global Services, we are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and deploying pricing data and algorithms in our pricing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test pricing data and algorithms in pricing systems
  • Prepare test plans and construct test cases in pricing systems
  • Develop a deep understanding of pricing data sources, data engineering, and manipulation logic
  • Assist in the implementation of statistical and actuarial analysis into pricing systems
  • Devise, implement, and monitor pricing processes within agreed time scales
  • Focus on automation possibilities to gain efficiencies
  • Deep understanding of pricing infrastructure, including recommending and designing changes
Requirements:
  • Graduate in Computer Science, Actuarial, Analytics, or similar
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant technical experience
  • Advanced SAS programming skills
  • Intermediate to advanced R programming skills
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Intermediate Excel and dash boarding skills
  • Some exposure to BI reporting and visualization tools like Cognos or Tableau or R-Shiny
  • Insurance industry experience desirable
