Casual Sales Associate Opportunity

This role is ideal for high school students looking to gain retail experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a vibrant, friendly, and motivated individual to work as a sales associate. This position involves afternoon and weekend shifts.

No prior retail experience is necessary, as comprehensive training is provided in retail, customer service, and store procedures.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and promoting our product range, including lottery tickets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
  • Operating the point-of-sale system for various services, products, and lottery ticket sales.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Restocking shelves and merchandising stock.
  • Providing information on lottery games, prizes, and promotions.

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, basic math skills, flexibility to work weekdays after school and weekends, self-motivation to work independently and proactively, and punctuality and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers. Basic math skills are essential for handling cash and operating the point-of-sale system.

We also require the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekdays after school and weekends, and self-motivation to work independently and proactively.
