Job Description

The Employment Consultant plays a pivotal role in achieving exceptional customer outcomes by fostering meaningful relationships and delivering tailored support services.

This position involves:

  • Providing case management to an allocated caseload of customers with the goal of securing sustainable employment opportunities.
  • Conducting thorough assessments to identify customers' vocational strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing individualised plans to enhance customers' employability skills and job readiness.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local employers to secure job referrals and placements.
  • Participating in group-based job search sessions to motivate and engage customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development, or willingness to study.
  • Experience in the employment services or call centre industry, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong administration skills, including data entry and typing proficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet individual targets and KPIs.
