At Ittehad Brothers Pty Ltd, we pride ourselves on serving authentic Indian and Arab cuisine that delights our patrons. Our kitchen team is the backbone of our operation, and we are seeking a highly skilled Chef to join us in this endeavour.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation benefits.

We are looking for a talented Chef who can oversee food preparation, presentation, and menu planning. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cooking mains, entrées, and side items, as well as preparing signature dishes and dietary-specific meals for our discerning clientele.

1. Select and plan recipes based on customer trends and seasonal produce.
2. Cook and prepare high-quality dishes that meet our standards.
3. Estimate food consumption and requisition supplies accordingly.
4. Inspect and control inventory for quality purposes.
5. Supervise and train new kitchen staff in cooking, plating, and presentation techniques.
6. Ensure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
7. Collaborate with management to recommend menu changes and daily specials.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

• An Advanced Diploma, Diploma, or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent experience of 3 years in a similar position.
