About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Flight Instructor to join our team in East Sale, Victoria. As a Senior Aviation Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to students, ensuring they meet the required standards and are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs that cater to the needs of students, incorporating cutting-edge techniques and best practices in aviation instruction.
  • Conduct quality aircrew training, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted support strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine training materials, courses, and programs, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Category C Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI)/Operational Flying Instructor (OFI)/Fighter Combat Instructor (FCI) qualification or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in pilot training design and training device operation.
  • A strong background in instructional techniques, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality training outcomes.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
