About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit at St Vincent's Private Community Hospital Griffith. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to both surgical and medical patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to our organisation's standards and guidelines
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualised care plans
• Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies
• Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by medical staff
• Monitor patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies

Requirements

• Authority to practice as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
• Minimum one year post-graduate experience in a medical/surgical setting
• Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
• Competence in clinical IT systems for patient and health information and risk management
• Highly developed written and verbal skills
• Clearance for criminal record and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Up-to-date with NSW vaccination checklist
