Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Resident Medical Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care, under the direction of experienced medical staff, and contribute to the development of a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective and appropriate medical care to patients, in accordance with delegated clinical privileges and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in the roster for after-hours, on-call, and recall as required by the unit.
  • Rotate to an off-site location (Colac or Hamilton) as part of professional development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Recent medical graduate with strong clinical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
