Warehouse Production Assistant

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a warehouse environment, assisting with the collection, sorting, and storage of recyclable drink containers. You will be working on a casual basis at our bulk container deposit scheme site in Tamworth.
As a Warehouse Production Assistant, you will be responsible for operating equipment used for bulk sorting of recyclable drink containers, using a forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containers, and operating a point-of-sale system for accurate sales and refund transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate machinery and equipment used in the warehouse environment
- Use a forklift to move bins of sorted recyclable containers
- Process sales and refunds accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Experience in operating heavy machinery or forklifts
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or production environment
- Capacity to perform manual/physical tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment
