Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Supervisor to oversee the safety, quality and performance of field operations in Ballarat.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical maintenance and management, with a strong focus on ensuring the safe operation of water and wastewater infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of Water and Wastewater Electrical Infrastructure;
  • Conduct site visits to check the operability of electrical systems;
  • Perform routine telemetry system checks;
  • Carry out reactive/breakdown maintenance of water and wastewater electrical infrastructure;
  • Provide scheduled on-call/after-hours response;
  • Minor Capital Electrical Works of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure;
  • Facilitate switchboard upgrades at client sites;
  • Install new infrastructure and perform pumpstation upgrades;
  • Treatment plant upgrades and network system installations or upgrades;
  • Supervision/Sub-Contractor Management;
  • Direct the work of sub-contractors and ensure they operate safely and in accordance with Service Stream policies and procedures;
  • Manage time sheeting and report any issues to the Contract Manager;
  • HSEQ;
  • Develop and maintain SWMS and conduct regular inspections, audits, and spot checks;
  • Promote a safety-based influence among workers and ensure the quality of work through feedback;
  • Lead the use and evolution of Service Stream's HSEQ systems and their integration into day-to-day management;
  • Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing for Service Streams employees and subcontractors;
  • Ensure compliance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 standards.
About You:
  • You must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Be a fully qualified and licensed electrician;
  • Hold Working from Heights Accreditations, Confined Space Accreditation, and Elevated Work Platform certifications (preferred).
