Project Lead

As a key player in our organization, you will oversee and direct the entire project life cycle of capital investment projects from concept to execution within the operating environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective implementation by guaranteeing the safety of the plant, products, and personnel.
  • Preliminary analysis for projects including building, utilities, services, equipment, and layout is essential.
  • Supervise the installation of equipment and be responsible for budgetary control and scope adherence.
  • Update/create site technical drawings and documentation.
  • Execute basic and detailed design of the project based on corporate business principles, standards, local regulations, and defined user requirements specifications.
  • Implement safety by design during both construction and ongoing operation of the plant.
  • Coordinate the efforts of all stakeholders to implement the project in accordance with defined timing, cost, and quality.
  • Coordinate with start-up manager and team to ensure a smooth transition to operations after qualification and verification of installation have been finalized.
  • Select, qualify, and coordinate contractors' activities.
Requirements:
  • Completion of tertiary study in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the engineering field.
  • Project management skills, including developed analytical and budgetary skills.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Leaders will require a proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams, experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
  • Self-management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them.
