Job Title

Portfolio Manager is a vital position within our organization that entails the management of fixed income portfolios to ensure their alignment with individual client mandates. The role involves positioning and monitoring these portfolios while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate internal records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish new Portfolio Management Agreements with clients, focusing on asset-back and mortgage-backed securities.
  • Reconcile client positions and cash balances with custodian records to maintain accurate internal records.
  • Assist in trading activities by coordinating with brokers, traders, and the operations team.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Analysis team and broader group to monitor credit and market risks.
  • Prepare client reports, performance reviews, and marketing presentations.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests for information via email or telephone.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have broad experience in fixed income markets, specifically with asset-back and mortgage-backed securities. They must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in Microsoft Excel applications. Additionally, they should have good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
