About the Role

Local Peoples is seeking a highly skilled Transformational Change Expert to join our team in Canberra. As an embedded member of our Government clients' teams, you will contribute to a wide range of projects that drive strategic objectives, modernise business processes, and provide reliable information for decision-makers.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective change management strategies, including communications, engagement, and behavioural and cultural change.
  • Utilise formalised methods, approaches, and industry best practices (e.g., PROSCI, CMI, CMBoK) or demonstrate a deep understanding of mature change management approaches in government at a local level.
  • Create and deliver successful communications campaigns and engagement programs that drive organisational change.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders, as well as prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Oversee change programmes and plans, contribute to document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Foster complex stakeholder engagement, including end-user experience, while managing policy requirements.
  • Support the achievement of key project and program milestones through strategic advice and operational assistance to executives.
Requirements
  • Hold a current ASGVA Baseline clearance or be able to obtain one.
  • Australian Citizen.
