Job Title: Purchasing Officer

At Champ Group, we are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer/Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of purchase orders across our supply chain stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement short and long-term purchasing and inventory strategies to meet business needs.
  • Provide support for spend category sourcing reviews and secure cost reductions.
  • Monitor and report supplier performance, including DIFOT and quality metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Procurement, Materials Management, or Supply Chain.
  • Experience working in the mining or industrial sector, or domestic low-cost country sourcing.
  • Ability to operate an ERP system and compile reports in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
