We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Area Architect to join our Wholesale Digital team at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for our system landscape, as well as delivering solution architecture outcomes for ongoing feature demand.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for Wholesale Digital
  2. Design software components that integrate with payments and core banking systems
  3. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks
  4. Ensure the quality, performance, scalability, security, and reliability of the platform
  5. Provide technical leadership and guidance to Architects and development teams
  6. Resolve technical issues and risks as they arise
  7. Communicate and present solution architecture and strategy to various stakeholders
  8. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in digital banking
Requirements
  1. Many years of experience in software development and architecture
  2. Proven track record of designing and delivering successful software solutions in the financial services industry, preferably in the digital banking space
  3. Expertise in various technologies, such as web and mobile applications, cloud computing, data analytics, APIs, microservices, blockchain, and artificial intelligence
  4. Familiarity with various standards, regulations, and protocols in the financial services industry, such as ISO 20022, Open Banking, SWIFT, and NPP
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills
