About the Role

Karlka Recruiting Group is partnering with a State Government Agency to find an experienced Oracle Developer. This is a 6-month contract position located in the busy Eveleigh NSW office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms applications to meet functional requirements and enhance user experience within the Asset Management System.
  • Customize and extend existing Oracle Forms modules to support new features and functionalities as per project requirements.
  • Work closely with Oracle databases, writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to ensure seamless data integration and retrieval within the AMS.
  • Optimize database performance and conduct data validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Forms applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining system uptime.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (10+ years) as an Oracle Forms Developer or similar role, with expertise in designing and developing Oracle Forms applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Oracle Forms Builder and Oracle Reports, with the ability to customize and extend forms to meet business requirements.
  • Familiarity with Oracle database administration tasks such as schema management, data migration, and backup/restore procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
