Conservation and Land Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Conservation and Land Management Specialist.

Job Description:

This is a permanent full-time position that combines commercial grounds maintenance with conservation and land management efforts.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in commercial grounds maintenance, attention to detail, and reliability. A Queensland Construction White Card is also required.

  • Lawn care, mowing, and snipping
  • Landscape maintenance and plant care
  • Pest and weed control
  • Hardscape maintenance
  • Seasonal cleanup and debris removal
Conservation and Land Management Duties:

In addition to general grounds maintenance, the successful candidate will be involved in conservation and land management activities such as:

  • Native plant installation
  • Weed identification
  • Implementing sustainable landscaping practices
  • Habitat restoration and management
Requirements:

To excel in this role, the successful candidate must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Grounds Maintenance Experience: Proven experience in commercial grounds maintenance is essential.
  • Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail is crucial when it comes to maintaining the aesthetics of commercial properties.
  • Reliability: Dependability is key in delivering consistent and high-quality maintenance services.
  • Qld Construction White Card: Possession of a Qld Construction White Card is required.
  • Chemical Spray Experience: Experience with chemical spraying for weed control and pest management is preferred.
  • Own Transport: You should have access to your own transportation to get to crew meeting points.
