Job Description

In this role, reporting directly to the Assistant Financial Controller, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting the upkeep of the budgeting database, including the monthly rollover process, adding new initiatives, and importing data from relevant financial software.
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly variance reports.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to provide financial insights for their reports.
  • Assisting in the compilation of annual financial statements for the Group.
  • Aiding in the preparation and submission of Group tax reports, which include:
  • Income tax filings;
  • Monthly and quarterly business activity statements;
  • Annual taxable payments reports.
  • Maintaining fixed asset registers to ensure compliance with capital expenditure policies.
  • Creating and managing financial commitments.
  • Assisting in budget and forecast preparation.
  • Contributing to special projects as needed.
  • Performing Accounts Administrator duties during absences.
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned by the Deputy Financial Controller or Management.
The Successful Applicant
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with modular accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Professional, trustworthy, and cooperative demeanor.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
