Job Title: General Surgery Fellow

Location: Launceston General Hospital, Tasmania

Overview:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a General Surgery Fellow.
  • As a General Surgery Fellow, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site/facility.
  • You will also provide after-hours emergency cover at the allocated site/facility as determined by the Head of Department.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site/facility.
  2. Provide after-hours emergency cover at the allocated site/facility as determined by the Head of Department.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • General, provisional, or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
