We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer and Field Service Specialist to join our team in Perth, working with GRE fibre glass.

Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all Site Safety
  • Project supervision of GRE Piping installation for individual projects
  • Liaise with project manager, project superintendent
  • CPI certified bonder and pipe laminator
  • CPI QA Inspector
  • Onshore GRE pipe repair, fabrication and installation
  • Onshore GRE pressure piping fabrication and installation and hydrostatic testing
  • Preparation & issue of work packs for fabrication
  • Quality Control of individual projects
  • Working off Isometric Drawings
  • Maintain project files & quality documentation
  • Manage & prepare technical queries, NCR's, ITP's, as-built drawings & MDR
  • Liaise with external vendors/contractors for equipment & parts supply/fabrication

The successful applicants will be offered a remuneration between $80,000 - $90,000.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Field Engineering, Supervision, fabrication and installation control expertise
  • Project Engineering, supervision and quality assurance
  • QA competence ISO 9001 quality management system
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritise & handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Commitment to results, able to work towards fixed deadlines without jeopardizing standards & precision of work
  • Attention to detail & problem solving skills
  • Extensive traditional and specialist piping product knowledge and skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with ability to liaise with people from diverse social & cultural backgrounds

  • Welding fabrication and Pipe fitting
