As a key member of our Risk Consulting team, you will play a critical role in evaluating account risk quality and coordinating the scope and delivery of property loss prevention services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate account risk quality using internal and external information, tools, and resources.
- Conduct property risk surveys to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage the scope and scale of loss prevention services delivered to clients, balancing client expectations, underwriting requirements, and service cost constraints.
- Work closely with clients to improve their property risk profile and develop customized risk management solutions.
- Support the sales and marketing effort by promoting our brand and service capabilities to prospective clients and brokers.
- Participate in process improvements and special projects to enhance the environment at AXA XL.
- Contribute to the development and growth of other team members through knowledge sharing and expertise.
Requirements:
- Extensive industry experience in property loss prevention or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of NFPA codes and FM data sheets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Broad understanding of key underwriting decision points.
- Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
- Proficient presentation skills, including written and verbal.
- Ability to summarize large amounts of information and deliver against deadlines.
- Knowledge of IT systems and skilled in time management and work techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent) required.
- Professional designations such as Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and/or Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection preferred.
