**Job Description:**

As a Credit Risk Advisor in our Business Banking Risk Management division, you'll be responsible for providing specialist risk services and advice to our Business Banking team. You'll work closely with our Regional and Agribusiness Banking division to service Australia's regional business needs for commercial and agriculture customers nationwide.

**Key Responsibilities:**

You'll be involved in delivering insightful advice to internal clients, analysing industry changes impacting risk outcomes, reviewing transaction documentation, and ensuring portfolios are monitored. You'll also contribute to a strong performance culture within Risk Management and with Business peers.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in a credit risk position, including exercising a personal delegation in a major financial institution.
  • High level diversified industry knowledge and experience in Agribusiness and Commercial risk management.
  • Nurtured and maintained key internal stakeholder relationships, and client relationship management experience.
  • Experience in contributing to high performing teams and ability to contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Sound influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box and adapt quickly to new situations.
  • Ability to provide sound, consistent credit risk decisions.
  • Ongoing awareness of ESG issues and the impact on credit risk.
  • Ongoing awareness of relevant industry issues, which might impact on external and internal credit environments affecting credit quality and recommend appropriate changes to system and/or policies.
