Job Title: Support Worker for Young Adults with Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled support worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to two young adults with disabilities. This is a casual position, working Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to grow hours over time.


Job Description:

As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality emotional, physical, social, and behavioral support to the young adults in various settings, including their home, employment, and community environments. Your role will involve assisting with daily living tasks, personal care duties, household chores, and maintaining documentation as required.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • English must be your first language; fluency and minimal accent are essential due to non-verbal clients and those in speech development stages.
  • Must have computer/phone skills, including typing, minor formatting, and using Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Facebook Messenger.
  • Comfortable with personal care and able to follow instructions and routines.

Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $41.00-$41.50 per hour, plus $0.47 per hour for First Aid up to a total of $17.22 per week. We also offer a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Please note that this position requires a Full Driver's License and First Aid Certification. Experience in disability care is preferred, but not necessary.
