We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Material Handler / Stores Person in a dynamic and fast-paced workshop environment.

About the Role:

• Pick and pack items for dispatching and production.
• Loading and unloading deliveries via forklift.
• Loading and unloading locomotive components.
• Moving stock around the workshop.
• Check and receipt incoming goods.
• Raising requisitions as required.
• Participate in stock takes and cycle counts.
• Liaise with third party logistics companies for pick-up and deliveries.

Requirements:

• Must be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physical duties - lifting between kgs.
• Strong focus and awareness of workplace safety.
• A high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Forklift experience and valid license is a must.
• Overhead Crane experience and valid license is a must.
• Mechanical minded.
• Warehouse management systems experience.
