The Opportunity: Regional Information Security Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated, mission-focused, people and partnership leader who is outcomes-driven to fill the position of Regional Information Security Manager.

As the Regional Information Security Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of security engineering and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security Engineering across the Australian business and oversee APAC.
  • Working collectively with in-country programs and leadership, in-country program and physical security, Corporate Information Security (CIS), and International IT teams to ensure appropriate and consistent security controls are implemented within the Australian/regional IT environments.

To be successful you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in leadership and managing programs/projects and teams.
  • Experience in driving efficiency, innovation and excellence across all Security functions and operations at the organisational level.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of commonwealth certification/accreditation processes.
  • Sound understanding of Defence infrastructure systems.
  • Knowledge of Australian/regional IT landscape, country-specific cyber security and privacy laws, cultural norms, in-country programs and program needs.
