We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Frontline Health ACT & Southern NSW.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to deliver exceptional patient care.

Salary

A competitive salary package is on offer, with a base salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

As a Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality ultrasound examinations, including general, obstetric, vascular, and musculoskeletal scans. You will also prepare detailed reports and collaborate with referring physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

You will work closely with medical professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses and provide exceptional patient care. This role offers access to state-of-the-art technology and the support of a dedicated healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations, including general, obstetric, vascular, and musculoskeletal scans
  • Prepare detailed reports and collaborate with referring physicians
  • Provide exceptional patient care, maintaining comfort and confidentiality throughout the process
  • Keep updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and equipment
Leadership Responsibilities

If you have leadership experience, you may be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring junior sonographers to ensure the highest standards of care and professionalism
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ultrasound department
  • Collaborating with management to optimize workflow and enhance service delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality assurance protocols
  • Providing guidance on complex cases and supporting clinical decision-making

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full ASAR registration as a Sonographer
  • Relevant qualifications in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Dedication to patient care and safety
  • Experience in various ultrasound modalities is highly desirable
