**About the Role**

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Boilermaker Apprentice to join our team at MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees. As a Boilermaker Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, and interpreting engineering drawings.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist experienced tradespeople in various tasks, including cutting, heating, bending, cropping, punching, drilling, grinding, sanding, and polishing.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
  • Develop skills in welding (aluminium and mild steel), fabrication, and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and mentorship programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

**What We Offer**

  • A 4-year apprenticeship contract with paid annual and personal leave.
  • A consistent income with weekly pay.

  • A hard-working individual who can work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A solid understanding of machinery and tools, allowing for effective troubleshooting and operation.
  • A willingness to absorb new skills and take direction from experienced team members.
  • A high level of initiative combined with excellent communication skills to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • The ability to complete Forklift training, which will be provided by MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees.
  • A dependable vehicle and a current driver's licence.
  • A valid White Card to demonstrate commitment to workplace safety.
