Role Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (RN) will be accountable for delivering safe, competent, and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents, adhering to the scope of practice defined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Qualifications:

Essential:

  1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Understanding of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care
  3. Possession of a current National Police Certificate (or the ability to obtain one)

Desirable:

  1. Familiarity with government standards for aged care delivery
  2. Knowledge of the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument
  3. Strong clinical and documentation capabilities
  4. Awareness of the aged care accreditation process

All candidates must meet the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability for employment in the aged care sector.
