About the Role

Care Connect is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide in-home care to our Out of Hospital Care and Aged Care clients. As a leading provider of care services, our purpose is to enable people to live independently and safely at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Hygiene: Assist clients with personal grooming and hygiene, including medication reminders.
  • Domestic Support: Provide domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Nutrition and Meal Preparation: Assist with food shopping, menu planning, and meal preparation, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Mobility Assistance: Support clients with mobility assistance within the home and local community, enhancing their independence.
  • Client Well-being: Prioritize client well-being, demonstrating a strong care factor and commitment to their needs.
Requirements
  • Right to Work in Australia: Ensure eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Driver's Licence and Vehicle: Possess a valid driver's licence and own a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Criminal History Check: Undergo a police check and working with children check.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification: Hold a current first aid and CPR certificate.
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations: Meet the minimum requirement of 3 COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Certification and Experience: Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or Home and Community Care, or a Bachelor's or Diploma in Nursing (or completed first-year study towards it). Possess a minimum of 3 months of paid experience working in the aged care or community care sector.
  • Attitude and Commitment: Demonstrate a fantastic attitude and genuine interest in helping others.
