Disability Support Team Lead


About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Disability Support Team Lead to oversee the delivery of high-quality supports to individuals with disabilities in a supported accommodation (SIL) setting. This role involves leading an established team of support staff, delivering individualised support, and managing the day-to-day operations of the facility.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of support staff to deliver high-quality supports to individuals with disabilities
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies for individualised support planning and delivery
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports on support activities and outcomes
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders, including families and carers, to ensure person-centred support
  5. Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including rostering and resource allocation

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in disability support, preferably in a management or leadership role
  • Relevant qualifications in disability support, business administration, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of disability laws and regulations

Experience:

1 year of experience in disability support, preferably in a management or leadership role
