Clinical Career Advancement Opportunity for Newly Qualified Nurses

This 12-month program is designed to support newly qualified Enrolled Nurses in developing and enhancing their clinical skills and professional development within general acute, sub-acute or mental health clinical practice settings.
The program will facilitate the transition of Enrolled Nurses into professional practice, equipping them with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients using an individualised holistic approach related to the goals of care determined by the Primary Nurse (Registered Nurse)
- Work under both direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Consult with the Registered Nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with own level of competence and within policy guidelines
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled nurse with recent completion of a Diploma in Nursing or Eligibility for registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse upon completion of Diploma in Nursing prior to commencement
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated evidence of recent clinical placement in an acute care setting
