Are you passionate about leading the energy transition? We're seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Renewables and FlexGen Project Delivery team at ENGIE, a global energy player with over 97,000 employees across more than 30 countries.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in delivering construction of energy generation or storage projects in Australia on time and within budget. You will be collaborative and possess a can-do mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of new power generation and storage projects
  • Ensure high level governance and delivery of project milestones focusing on health and safety and quality standards
  • Manage major contracts, project schedules, budgets and stakeholder engagement
  • Utilise project management methodologies to achieve intended outcomes
  • Actively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints and tackle them head-on
  • Build, motivate and lead a project team to achieve outstanding results
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholders including regulatory agencies and government bodies

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in project delivery (construction) in renewable energy projects, and ideally BESS
  • Mature understanding and practical experience in principles of project management as they relate to engineering and construction
  • Ability to manage a diverse set of operational and corporate stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Passion for renewable energy and wishing to invest yourself long term in a company that is leading the energy transition globally
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or related field is desirable but not mandatory
