Oversight of Microsoft servers, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity measures will be key to this role. Ensure high availability and performance of our technology stack while identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating risks. This position involves design, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft servers for optimal performance.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and configuration of network infrastructure.
  • Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Design, configure, and maintain network hardware and security appliances.
  • Identify and address network security flaws and vulnerabilities.
  • Employ firewalls, anti-malware, intrusion prevention, vulnerability scanning, and other protective measures.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events in real-time.
  • Maintain accurate records of network users and their privileges.
  • Document and maintain all network and security architecture and configuration information.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with AWS, Azure services, and cloud architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and security practices.
  • Scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Familiarity with database management (MS SQL and MySQL) and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience in cybersecurity auditing and reporting (e.g., NIST, Tenable).
  • Tertiary level qualification in Information Technology.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
  • Cybersecurity certification.
  • 3 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Supporting Health & Aged Care environments.
  • Proficiency in Jira IT Service Management and Confluence.
