Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to fill the role of Financial Director.

This exciting opportunity exists for an experienced finance leader to join our business in the Australian construction and engineering equipment industry.

About The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, cash flow, working capital, and performance analysis.

  • Leading the revision, analysis, and reporting of company performance, including monthly reporting.
  • Preparing management reports and delivering insights at monthly updates and performance meetings.
  • Interpreting financial data and providing clear commercial commentary for decision-making.
  • Managing cash flow, working capital, and payroll functions.
  • Overseeing budgets, forecasts, fixed assets, and expenditure reporting.
  • Driving process improvements to streamline reporting and enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinating financial statements and tax compliance.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in business, finance, accounting or equivalent CA/CPA.

  • Proven experience managing a finance team.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information clearly.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and working knowledge of financial systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
  • A professional, confident, and adaptable approach with strong leadership qualities.
