About the Role

The Associate Dean, Nursing will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our nursing and midwifery programs, ensuring they are aligned with industry needs and standards. You will work closely with our Executive Dean, School of Nursing and Midwifery, to drive innovation and excellence in nursing education and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of nursing and midwifery programs
  • Collaborate with industry partners to ensure programs meet industry needs and standards
  • Drive innovation and excellence in nursing education and research
  • Provide leadership and guidance to academic staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student experience and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in a relevant field
  • Qualifications in education and/or experience in a tertiary or clinical setting
  • A sustained track record of research-related activities in a tertiary education or clinical setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in nursing or midwifery
Benefits and Remuneration

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, plus 17% employer superannuation. The base salary for Professor (Level E) is $205,952 per annum, while the base salary for Associate Professor (Level D) is $160,672 to $176,649. The role also attracts an Associate Dean Allowance of $20,595 and relocation support.
