">About the Role
">- This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As an auxiliary firefighter, you will be part of a diverse team that responds to various emergency situations, including fires, rescues, and medical emergencies.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with other firefighters and emergency responders to ensure the safety of people and property.
">Your Key Responsibilities
">- Respond to emergency calls and incidents, working collaboratively with other firefighters and emergency responders to ensure the safe resolution of the situation.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and improve your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of station facilities and equipment.
What We Offer
">We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $55,000 per annum, plus allowances and benefits.
As an auxiliary firefighter, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in emergency response, teamwork, and communication.

">Requirements
">- Australian Permanent Resident Status
- Manual C Class driver's licence
- Employers written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
- Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station
