Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Coordinator to join our team at Ennismore. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in supporting the Director of People and Culture to ensure the hotel implements its annual P&C Business Plan and Training/Development Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Support: Assist Department Heads in recruitment and assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Employee Onboarding: Assist with the induction and orientation of new team members following Resort guidelines where requested.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, promoting a positive work environment.
  • HR Administration: Prepare and manage employee contracts and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • HR Systems: Maintain up to date file of job descriptions and person specifications for all positions in the hotel.
  • Industrial Relations: Assist in the management of industrial relations within the hotel ensuring proactive and positive communication and interaction with unions and delegates.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions and workshops to ensure employees are continually developing their skills.
  • Employee Engagement: Organise employee engagement activities, such as town halls, team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.
  • Culture and Values: Contribute to fostering a culture that aligns with the hotel's values and mission, ensuring all employees feel valued and motivated.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all team members participate in scheduled compliance training and development programs.
  • HR Projects: Support the People and Culture team in various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with legal standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a Human Resources role within a hotel preferably in the hospitality or luxury sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in Zambion (Ready Tech) HRS is advantageous.
  • Must have basic understanding of the Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA).
  • A passion for people and creating a positive workplace culture.
  • Must have valid Australian Working Rights.
