The Role

We have a great opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our Supply Chain team based at Geelong. This position is integral to ensuring product quality across hydrocarbon samples (from LPG to Bitumen). The successful candidate will work within a fast-paced and dedicated laboratory team of 20 to ensure product quality is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out plant stream, finished product, and test run sample analysis.
  2. Work within a fast-paced and dedicated laboratory team to maintain product quality.
  3. Operate an array of testing/sampling equipment.

Requirements

  • Qualified (either Tertiary or TAFE certified) in Laboratory Technology.
  • Ideal experience in a Laboratory environment within a relevant testing industry (Petroleum, Food, Dairy etc).
  • A good understanding of 'best lab practice' gained in a commercial laboratory.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Holder of a valid Driver's License.
