About the Role
HammondCare At Home is expanding its services and seeking permanent part-time Specialised Care Workers to provide support to clients across the region. As a Specialised Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential and practical care to clients, including personal care, assistance with daily living activities, and transportation to appointments.
- Help clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other household tasks.
- Assist clients with medication management and provide emotional support.
Requirements
- You must be able to relate to people and be patient and solutions-focused.
- You may have previous experience in aged or community care or be looking to start your career in aged care.
- You must have a valid driver's license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle.
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is highly desirable, but not essential.
- You must be flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of clients.
