We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Acute Services - Ward A at Southern Fleurieu Health Service in Victor Harbor.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan individual patient care, implementing or coordinating appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options.
- Provide health education, counselling, and rehabilitation programs to improve patient health outcomes.
- Support and guide newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses, and other workers providing basic nursing care.
- Develop and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
- Eligibility for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with appropriate standards.
- Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritize workloads.
